Job summary

A respected groundworks and civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor in Norwich. The role involves overseeing onsite activities, managing labour, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates must have previous supervisory experience in groundworks or civil engineering, along with relevant certifications. This is a 4-month contract position offering £25 - £26.50 per hour.

• Strong knowledge of groundwork operations on commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise groundworks activities on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
• Manage site labour and subcontractors, allocating work effectively.
• Liaise with Site Manager, Project Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Monitor progress against programme and report on site performance.
• Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and company standards.
• Support toolbox talks, inductions, and risk assessments.
