A prominent educational institution in England is seeking an experienced Security and Amenities Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy. The role includes leading the Security Team, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Ideal candidates will have a strong leadership background, preferably in military or police services, and excellent judgment skills. Full time Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours a week between 7am and 6.30pm (exact start and finish times to be agreed).
Permanent, all year round.
Salary: SM1 38 – £45,623.

This is a senior operational role with real impact, ensuring the safety and security of pupils, colleagues, visitors and external users, while fostering a culture of vigilance, professionalism and care across our school community.
The role would suit someone with a background in the military, police or wider uniformed services, or an experienced security professional who enjoys combining strategic oversight with hands-on leadership. This is a newly created role within our evolving Estates and Security structure, designed to strengthen on-site supervision and support as our school continues to grow and develop.
