Site Porter & Transport Team Leader

Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Site Porter & Transport Team Leader to join our client based in Ascot.

The role is a hands‑on position which requires the candidate to be physically fit and able to carry out duties including delivering packages around site, regular set ups and other manual handling related tasks.

The successful Site Porter & Transport Team Leader will be responsible for:

Portering
  • Daily unlock/ lock up duties
  • Receipt, delivery and storage of goods around the site
  • Furniture set ups and event support
  • Co‑ordinate the staff rota in conjunction with porter team.
  • Site traffic management
Transport
  • Co‑ordinate a team of part time mini bus drivers.
  • Ensure site vehicles are maintained in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and compliance
  • Arrange all regular safety checks and running repairs for minibuses and other site vehicles.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of HSE related matters.
  • Liaise with school and charity staff as required to co‑ordinate external transport requirements.

The Site Porter & Transport Team Leader will have:

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Computer skills
  • Previous team leadership experience

Hours of work:

37 hrs. per week based on alternating rota:

Week A - 10am till 6pm

Weeks B - 6am till 2pm
