£50,000 - £55,000pa + benefits

Fantastic opportunity in the Huntingdon area for a CPC qualified Site Operations Manager to join a fast moving and dynamic operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day transport operation
• Ensuring the provision of a first-class service in the most cost-effective manner
• Efficient management of vehicle scheduling and the maximisation of vehicle utilisation
• Recruitment, retention and training of the distribution team.

Key Skills/Experience

• Track record in a similar role within a customer centric transport operation
• Transport Manager CPC is essential
• Proven experience of delivering against agreed budgets and KPI's
• Ensuring site compliance with all relevant employment / transport legislation
• Proven leadership abilities with the presence and charisma to lead a sizeable team
• An understanding of CI techniques, KPI management, Employment Law and H&S legislation
