Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Site Manager to take charge of day-to-day operations on our civil engineering (plot works) schemes. This role offers the opportunity to lead site activities, ensure smooth project delivery, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Location: Bowburn
Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with contractual requirements and Company Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems
- Assess the environmental impact and risks connected to projects
- Prepare and review risk assessments and method statements
- Ensure technical compliance and the safety of all operational activities
- Monitor progress against programme, take off and call off materials in advance of work
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, variation reports for the scheme
- Prepare detailed weekly lookahead programmes
- Schedule and manage resources to deliver site works
- Provide accurate records and measurement details to enable the Quantity Surveyor to prepare monthly valuations
- Support the planning, design and management of projects
- Manage information flow and identify technical queries
- Ensure exceptional levels of customer care

Qualifications
- Computer literate, including Microsoft project
- CSCS card – minimum gold standard
- Experience working in plot sector of new build projects/sites
- 5 day Site Managers Safety certificate
- Experience of civil engineering scheme of values £100k - £4million
- First aid at work certificate desirable
- Full clean UK driving licence
