Job description

Overview

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week. Start Date: ASAP. Day Rate: £350/day.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 6 experienced installers, ensuring smooth and efficient sequencing of work.
• Oversee all aspects of conveyor installation - technical, mechanical, and logistical.
• Manage materials and manpower to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of downtime and highlight any additional works beyond scope.
• Liaise directly with client PMs and Site Managers, representing the company professionally at all times.
• Handle challenges head-on, driving progress in a demanding site environment.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in conveyor installation and site management.
• Strong technical understanding of conveyors and installation sequencing.
• Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate materials effectively.
• Commercially astute with excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Strong communicator with the ability to build client relationships and command respect onsite.
• Resilient, proactive, and not afraid to be assertive when required.
