Site Manager - Retail Fit Out

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Car/Car Allowance

Join a leading fit out contractor specialising in retail shop refits, roll-outs, and fast-track fit outs for some of the UK's top retail brands. Working as part of numerous frameworks, this company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality retail environments efficiently and safely.

With project values ranging from £200k to £20m, you\'ll take ownership of exciting, varied projects, from multi-site roll-outs and shop refurbishments to specialist installations, remediation works, structural modifications, and the development of speciality customer zones.

The Role

• Manage fast-track retail fit out projects (£200k-£20m)
• Lead site teams and subcontractors across multiple trades
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
• Maintain high-quality standards and compliance with health & safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
• Report project progress, risks, and financial performance to senior management
• Deliver a wide range of retail works including roll-outs, refurbishments, new store fit outs, specialist installations (refrigeration, HVAC, M&E, joinery), remediation and restoration works, structural modifications, and speciality customer zones

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience managing fast-paced retail fit out projects
• Knowledge of shop refits, roll-outs, and associated trades
• Experience with projects valued £200k - £20m
• Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities
• SMSTS (essential) and CSCS card (essential)
• Willingness to travel (essential)
• First Aid at Work
• Degree, HNC, or HND in Construction Management or related discipline (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
