A leading residential developer is looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations for traditional build housing. The role involves managing daily on-site activities, leading trade teams, and ensuring work meets safety and quality standards. Candidates should have a valid CSCS card, SMSTS certification, and a strong background in traditional build housing with experience managing large residential projects. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join a leading residential developer for an upcoming phase of traditional build housing.
Manage daily operations on-site, ensuring work is carried out according to the build program and technical specifications.
Lead and coordinate various trade teams, conducting daily briefings and weekly progress meetings to ensure seamless workflow.
Foster a strict safety culture, conducting regular audits and ensuring all operatives adhere to RAMS and site safety protocols.
Perform rigorous inspections at all build stages (from foundations to finishing) to meet NHBC standards and minimize defects.
Valid CSCS Card (Management/Black preferred).
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
First Aid at Work Certificate.
Trade Background: A strong background in traditional build housing, with an NVQ in Construction Management or a trade‑specific qualification (e.g., Bricklaying or Carpentry) being highly advantageous.
Proven Track Record: Previous experience managing traditional build residential projects, specifically overseeing phases of 50+ units.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse subcontractor teams.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with Project Managers, sales teams, and customers.
