They are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee essential civil works – with a strong focus on bund installation, groundworks, and site safety – for a major HV substation framework.

Site Manager Key Essentials
  • As a Site Manager, you will lead all civil site activities including earthworks, ducting, and drainage in preparation for bund construction.
  • You will manage the installation of bunds, ensuring formwork, rebar, concrete pouring, and curing are delivered to engineering and quality standards – knowledge of bund installation is essential.
  • Take the lead on Health & Safety compliance on site, conducting inductions, toolbox talks, managing RAMS, and ensuring full adherence to CDM 2015 and HSE regulations.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, including groundworkers, formwork teams, and concrete specialists, to ensure safe and efficient delivery of all works.
  • Maintain quality through the implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring accurate documentation for project handover.
  • As the Site Manager, act as the main point of contact for the client, delivering progress updates and resolving technical queries in collaboration with design teams.
  • Keep accurate daily records and manage on-site logistics and materials.
