Site Engineer – VolkerStevin (Plymouth)

Collaborating with, and drawing on the specialist skills of the group's business units we deliver a truly integrated, multidisciplinary service.

VolkerStevin have a fantastic opportunity for a number of Sie Engineers to join our long term project in Plymouth.

This position requires security clearance and you must be a UK National.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all engineering duties and ensuring any engineers under their control complete their duties.
  • Educate and mentor the engineering team.
  • Input into RAMS, temporary works briefs, ITP's, weekly progress and planning updates, NCR's, TQs and Early Warnings.
  • Accountable for SHE performance at site level to support Line Manager.
  • Ensure quality performance at site level with regard to standards of both workmanship and documentation.
  • Ensure accurate setting‑out and control, communicate clearly to subcontract personnel, maintain long‑term setting‑out and project stations.
  • Produce and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for your section of the works, ensure quality checks and records, raise RFIs and TQs.
  • Maintain and collate quality records, support overall project quality goals agreed in the SMP, manage subcontractor progress.
  • Develop the short to medium term programme for your section of the project and maintain progress records.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5 Years' experience working toward a professional certification.
  • UK National status.
