Job description

CK Group are recruiting for a Site Chemist to join a leading Hazardous Waste Management company at their site based near Walsall, on a full-time, permanent basis, for a salary ranging from 28,000 to 30,000 per annum.

As a Site Chemist, you will be responsible for inspecting and accepting incoming assignments of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, in accordance with relevant regulations and site procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for chemistry graduates with some lab experience to apply their skills in a practical, hands‑on environment and develop a career in the environmental sector.

This is a shift‑based role, working 40 hours per week. Shifts include morning 6am–3pm, afternoon 2pm–10pm, and night 10pm–6am.

Please note, this role involves working both outdoors (in all weather conditions) and indoors.

Location

The Site Chemist will be based at the company's site near Walsall and is commutable from Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Stafford and Coventry.
