The Role

As a Site Assistant, you will support the Site Manager and the wider facilities team in maintaining a safe, clean, and secure school site. Your role is essential in supporting the daily operations and contributing to an environment conducive to learning and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Site Manager with site maintenance and upkeep.
  • Ensure the school site is safe, tidy, and secure by conducting routine checks and reporting hazards.
  • Support school events and activities by setting up and clearing areas as required.
  • Follow safeguarding protocols to protect the safety and wellbeing of students and staff.
  • Work collaboratively within the site team and wider school community.
  • Locking up duties at the end of the school day to ensure the site is secure.
Working Pattern
  • Proposed Hours: 20 hours per week (primarily covering school closing duties), with the possibility of overtime as required
  • Preferred Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 18:30 (including a 30-minute break)
  • Hours may be negotiable and discussed further at interview
