A civil engineering firm is seeking an experienced Site Agent in Eastbourne to manage construction on a critical infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will oversee site staff, manage contracts, and ensure the project is completed on budget and on time. Applicants should hold relevant qualifications such as HND, SMSTS, and have experience in civil engineering projects. We are now recruiting for an experienced Site Agent in our Southern Region to initially work on a large critical infrastructure scheme near Eastbourne in East Sussex. The programme is about 18 months long and the project commences in early 2026. The scheme involves highways and bridge construction works.
Already experienced as a Site Agent or Senior Site Agent you will have a relevant industry qualification (HND / HNC / BEng) or equivalent and an up‑to‑date SMSTS qualification, and appropriate CSCS card. A First Aid at work qualification is desirable.
You will also have experience of managing civil engineering projects with a main contractor along with previous experience on Highways, Earthworks and Structures experience.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and have a full UK driving licence.
