Ward A6 is primarily an acute surgical unit, mainly looking after general surgical patients. We also may receive other surgical specialties onto the ward including orthopedic and urology. We are seeking a suitably experienced surgical nurse who has a passion about patient safety, staff training and development, strong leadership, by setting examples of the highest standards and the delivery of exceptional quality care to patients with mixed surgical and medical conditions.
This is an exciting time to be joining our fantastic Mixed Surgery Specialty team. Our Surgical Directorate has a reputation for the highest standards of clinical care.
You will be an aspiring leader with the ability to adopt a highly accessible and visible approach for patients, relatives and colleagues. You will assist the Ward Manager with the operational management for the team working on the Ward.
You will have the ability to develop a culture of continuous improvement with a particular emphasis on the patient journey and clinical outcomes.
