Job description
Overview

As a sister / charge nurse on F3 you will be often required to coordinate daily shifts and be responsible for all 32 patients on the ward, deputising for the ward manager in their absence. You will join a healthy team of other Sister / Charge nurses and work in a collaborative manner in the smooth running of the ward, bed management and taking care of the patients. Majority of these patients will have undergone major lung resections. You will also be responsible for supporting your junior colleagues and their workload.

Responsibilities
  • Manage sickness and staffing, staff wellbeing, incident reporting, clinical governance, staff training and development, clinical audits, IQP and other managerial duties.
