A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Shipping and Compliance Coordinator to manage import/export activities. You will ensure compliance with laws and regulations while working with teams across logistics, purchasing, and sales. Qualifications

  • Experience with UK & US export controls.
  • Knowledge of HMRC related formalities for imports and exports.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accuracy in ERP systems.

  • Trouble-shoot shipment and delivery issues.
  • Analyse and monitor shipping spend and performance.

Overview

Your role as Shipping and Compliance Coordinator will be critical to the success of import/export for a world leading global manufacturer of digital technologies, with over 30 years of experience. You'll be based out of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and will have the chance to work with a range of teams, including purchasing, logistics, materials and sales. Your purpose will be to ensure that all import/export activities are completed efficiently, where you will manage shipping activity and ensure that the business complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain HMRC Complaint audit logs for import/export
  • Trouble-shoot shipment and delivery issues
  • Drive accuracy of ERP system
  • Analyse and monitor shipping spend and performance
  • Assist with trade compliance audits and reviews
What we are looking for? / Qualifications
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with global customs regulation and UK & US export controls.
  • Detailed knowledge of HMRC related formalities - both imports and exports: Commodity codes and tariffs / processing relief / customs procedures
  • Ability to work with cross-functional team: sales, admin, warehouse, materials, logistics, purchasing
  • Skills: Proficient in office applications (Excel and Outlook)
