Are you an experienced Shift Manager working in the FMCG industry, looking for your next career move?

Do you have experience in leading a production team to deliver results and meet targets?

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will be to provide leadership and direction to shift operatives. You will need to have a can‑do attitude and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, building relationships with the team and communicating with wider parts of the business and departments.

Your main duties will include:

• Oversee employees, ensure they perform duties correctly, and delegate tasks based on skills and needs.
• Create shift schedules, monitor attendance, train new hires, provide coaching, and address performance issues.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and health standards, and report any transgressions.
• Conduct pre‑shift meetings to communicate goals and updates.
• Communicate with the next shift to ensure a smooth handover.
• Assist with hiring and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot equipment or other issues that arise.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

We are looking for someone who has experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in food, pet food or FMCG. If you have HACCP L2 and IOSH managing safety, this would be advantageous.

Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern or 6am – 6pm and 6pm – 6am, you will need to have your own transport as the factory is not accessible via public transport.
