Job summary

A food manufacturing company in Lurgan is seeking a Production Shift Manager to oversee evening shift operations. The role focuses on ensuring production processes meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. You will manage a team of 6-8 operatives, drive daily production targets, and collaborate with Quality and Maintenance teams. Essential qualifications include supervisory experience in food manufacturing and attention to detail. This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Qualifications

• 2 years+ supervisory experience in food manufacturing is essential.
• Commitment to food safety is essential.
• Lean/Continuous improvement experience is desirable.

Working in a highly automated plant and overseeing 6-8 shift operatives you will have the following responsibilities:

The Role:

• Ensure production meets food safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Resolve issues quickly to minimise downtime.
• Train and support team members in safety, hygiene, and production processes.
• Drive daily targets and promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Despatch teams.

Requirements:

• 2 years+ Supervisory experience in food manufacturing. (Essential)
• High attention to detail and commitment to food safety. (Essential)

Desirable:

• Lean/Continuous improvement experience, IOSH qualification

Hours: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm
