Position: Shift Manager
Contract Type: Permanent - 45 hours per week
Location: Enfield, EN3 4NQ
Shift: Nights / Monday-Friday
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the team of Operations Controllers, overseeing resource planning and conducting driver pre-briefs and de-briefs.
  • Manage transport, courier, and fleet operations to meet service standards.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed in full compliance with site risk assessments.
  • Oversee daily operations and promote operational best practices.
  • Plan and allocate operational resources effectively in line with workload requirements.
  • Monitor operational costs and lead investigations into claims or discrepancies.
  • Handle and resolve issues, identify risks, and ensure effective issue resolution.
  • Ensure daily communication between shifts and maintain an accurate handover process.
Ideal candidate / Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to delegate where necessary.
  • Process management experience.
  • Knowledge of resource management and deployment.
  • Good IT skills.
