Overview

Shift Maintenance Engineer - Belfast / Lisburn Area. Our client is a global manufacturer supplying products worldwide.

We are recruiting a Shift Maintenance Engineer who will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment, based at their site close to Belfast and Lisburn. Shift pattern is Continental 2 week days and 2 week nights, with a starting salary at over £48k later rising to £51k, and additional overtime paid at 1.5 rate.

Responsibilities
  • Planned and reactive maintenance on production plant and equipment
  • Respond to breakdowns and resolve faults quickly
  • Continuous improvement and machine upgrades
  • Work across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Work as part of a maintenance team to minimise downtime and maximise performance
  • Record maintenance logs as required
  • Work in line with company policy and health & safety
Requirements
  • Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering, Mechatronic or Electrical
  • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing/ production setting
  • Multi-skilled across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Preferable to have knowledge of PLC's, controls and robotics
