Ready to demonstrate your expertise in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in a clean, state of the art FMCG Manufacturing environment?

You will be fully utilised in this role, reducing downtime, improving repair times, and enhancing overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

About the Role

Sustaining and improving equipment reliability and efficiency, you'll help create innovative maintenance systems, supporting the development of performance measures and yearly maintenance plans.

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off (rotating days and nights)

What you'll get involved in:

  • PPM maintenance programs
  • Commissioning new projects
  • Utilising planning tools and CMMS systems to organise weekly tasks and improvement projects.
  • Ensuring accurate reporting and documentation of all maintenance activities.
  • You'll have the opportunity to support cross‑skilling initiatives, expanding our Operators' skillset, e.g. lubrication, changeovers, inspections, and minor repairs.
  • As our Engineer, you will play an integral role in troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing long‑term solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • From managing spare parts and purchasing systems, to conducting criticality and obsolescence assessments, your attention to detail will help streamline operations and support continuous improvement (CI).
  • To further support CI, you will use improvement tools such as 5S, TPM, Asset Management and Kaizen. We'll also rely on you to prepare weekly/monthly performance reports.

Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3+ In Electrical Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Electrical Qualification, or alternatively, completion of a multi‑discipline apprenticeship (desirable)
  • Advanced PLC fault finding and problem solving skill
