Shift Engineer - Night Role

Location: Lincolnshire (Commutable from: Spalding, Sutterton, Algarkirk, Kirton, Fishtoft, Swineshead, Donington, Holbeach, Pinchbeck, etc.).

Are you an experienced Shift Engineer looking for a hands‑on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? This is a great opportunity to work on a wide range of equipment, support a strong engineering team, and take ownership of maintenance and improvement initiatives.

We're seeking a proactive engineer who thrives in a busy production environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and takes pride in delivering safe, reliable, and high‑quality engineering solutions.

What you'll do:

Working a 3s & 2s night shift pattern, you'll play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of all site machinery and equipment.

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production equipment and site facilities.
  • Responding to breakdowns and completing reactive maintenance efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the Maintain-X system.
  • Supporting engineering projects and proposing solutions to improve equipment performance and uptime.
  • Ensuring high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping across the workshop and work areas.
  • Assisting with audits, safety inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deputising for the Engineering Manager when required.
