Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading energy provider to recruit a SHE Coordinator to work on a CHP plant in Seascale.

The SHE Coordinator role comes with a competitive salary, pension and additional benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of safety, health and environmental processes in line with business and legislative requirements.
  • Provide guidance on company procedures to employees and contractors.
  • Carry out workplace inspections, ensuring actions are followed up to completion.
  • Contribute to communication channels including newsletters, meetings and training sessions.
  • Assist with incident investigations, reporting and follow-up of recommendations.
  • Support waste management and COSHH compliance.
  • Represent the SHE function at internal and external forums.
Professional qualifications
  • GCSEs including Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Experience of working within a legislative framework.
  • Knowledge of auditing and risk assessment techniques.
  • Ability to deliver training and presentations.
  • IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications are desirable.
