Job description

We're looking for a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Advisor to join our Anglian Water IOS team based in East Anglia.

Location: Norwich, Norfolk – plus travel to sites/offices within the East Anglia region (Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire).

Hours: 45 hours per week.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Join our collaborative team as a SHE Advisor and make a meaningful difference to our safety culture. Working within the Anglian Water Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) framework, you'll play a vital role in supporting our teams to deliver projects safely and effectively across East Anglia.

What will you be responsible for?

As a SHE Advisor, you'll be working within the IOS SHE team, supporting them in promoting safety, ensuring risk mitigation and driving SHE performance improvement.

Your day to day will include:
  • Providing advice and guidance on health, wellbeing and environmental topics to operational teams
  • Supporting the development of safety management systems while collaborating with various stakeholders
  • Ensuring effective investigation and reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses
  • Work closely with the operational teams to support them in fulfilling their SHE responsibilities
  • Contributing to continuous SHE improvements across the alliance
What are we looking for?
  • Experience within the construction, infrastructure or utilities industries
  • NEBOSH Level 3 certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Full driving licence to travel across the region
