A leading recruitment firm is seeking a proactive SharePoint & Modern Workplace Specialist in London. You will design, develop, and support digital workplace solutions, focusing on SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 applications. Key responsibilities include maintaining SharePoint sites, rolling out modern workplace tools, and providing user training. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SharePoint and excellent communication skills, and must be willing to work on-site 2-3 days a week inside IR35. My wel established, market leading Client is urgently recruiting for a proactive and enthusiastic SharePoint & Modern Workplace Specialist to join their growing team. In this role, you'll design, develop, and support digital workplace solutions that empower their employees to collaborate, communicate, and work more efficiently. You'll be their go-to expert for SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 applications, and modern workplace technologies.
Design, build, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, hubs, libraries, and workflows.
Lead and support the rollout of Modern Workplace solutions across Microsoft 365 (Teams, OneDrive, Viva, Power Platform).
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive, user-friendly solutions.
Create and manage site architecture, permissions, governance, and compliance standards.
Develop Power Automate flows, apps, and dashboards to streamline processes.
Troubleshoot issues related to SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft 365 services.
Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support to drive adoption.
Stay updated on Microsoft 365 roadmap changes and recommend improvements.
Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online architecture, configuration, and customization.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace tools (Teams, OneDrive, Viva, Planner, Power Platform).
Familiarity with governance, permissions models, and best practices.
Experience creating Power Automate workflows and (bonus) Power Apps.
Ability to translate technical features into business-friendly solutions.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Bonus: Experience with SharePoint migration, information architecture, or scripting (PowerShell).
