• Define scope and objectives: Establish clear goals, success criteria, and boundaries for the ServiceNow deployment.
• Develop project plan: Create timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Stakeholder alignment: Identify sponsors, key users, and IT leadership; ensure buy‑in and communication.
• Risk management: Document risks, mitigation strategies, and escalation paths.
• Budget and resource tracking: Monitor costs, licenses, and staffing against plan.
• Vendor and partner coordination: Manage ServiceNow consultants, integrators, and third‑party providers.
• Quality assurance: Ensure testing, validation, and compliance checkpoints are met.
• Progress reporting: Regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on status, issues, and achievements.
• Cutover and go‑live readiness: Coordinate final deployment activities, rollback plans, and support coverage.
• Post‑deployment review: Conduct lessons learned, performance metrics, and continuous improvement planning.
• Future expansion and optimisation: Post‑deployment review, roadmap, vendor management.
