Service Planner

£24,742 per annum (stater salary)

Commutable from Wrexham, Ellesmere, Oswestry, Shrewsbury

The Role: We are currently recruiting a Service Planner for a reputable company that provides premium equipment to a variety of industries. This role will suit a candidate with strong customer service and administration skills. Full training is provided for the role.

The responsibilities of the Service Planner:

  • Supporting the service department by handling incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries.
  • Managing key customer accounts and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Preparing repair estimates and following up with customers throughout the process.
  • Answering calls for breakdown assistance, parts requests, and general customer queries.
  • Performing general administrative tasks, including collecting and processing engineers' paperwork.
  • Maintaining records for monthly KPI data and completing KPI reports.
  • Monitoring and managing work in progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Processing invoices and raising purchase orders.

The successfully appointed Service Planner will have:

  • The ability to provide excellent administration and customer service.
  • Strong IT skills (Google Suite and Microsoft packages)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to work productively in a fast-working environment.
  • Manufacturing or service background (desirable).
