The role

My client is a well-established, highly respected local business within the security sector. We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead and develop their service department, ensuring exceptional customer high service standards.

You will take ownership of the service function, managing both on-site and off-site engineers while acting as a key technical and operational point of contact.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of service engineers, including those working remotely
  • Managing helpdesk and service coordination staff
  • Provide technical support both remotely and on-site when required
  • Ensure all SLAs and KPIs are met or exceeded
  • Handle escalated service issues and customer concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Drive continuous improvement across service delivery and customer satisfaction
What we need from you :
  • Previous experience within security systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, or a similar environment
  • Strong technical background with hands-on problem-solving ability
  • Experience working within an NSI-approved or regulated security setting
  • Proven people management skills with a hands-on leadership approach
