Overview

Service Manager / Plate Heat Exchanger Manager / Plate Heat Exchanger Supervisor required to join a global engineering services provider in Aberdeen. The Service Manager will lead and supervise a team of technicians, ensuring high-quality service delivery and maintenance of plate heat exchangers at customers sites.

Role

• Lead and supervise a team of PHE technicians, ensuring their performance meets company standards and customer expectations.
• Oversee disassembly, inspection, cleaning and reassembly of plate heat exchangers.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure correct gasket replacement, plate inspection, and pressure testing.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with PHEs in workshop and onsite environments.
• Coordinate job schedules, manpower, tools and materials.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to technicians.

Requirements

• Experience as a Service Manager, Lead Technician, Service Manager, Senior Engineer, Engineering Manager.
• Minimum 5-8 years' experience with plate heat exchangers, including supervisory roles.
• Strong understanding of different types of PHEs (gasketed, brazed, welded, shell & tube preferred).
• Proficiency with tools and machinery related to PHE servicing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
• Proven management experience including supervisory roles.
• Commutable to Aberdeen.
