Service Engineer – Conveyor Belt Maintenance | Grimethorpe | Full Time | £30,000 – £42,000 per annum

Our client was established in 2003, asserting its position in the industry by supplying, installing, and maintaining conveyor belt scrapers and cleaners across the UK and Ireland. They pride themselves on excellent service and the supply of quality products to their customers, with the aim of fulfilling orders within days of being placed, setting them apart from their competitors.

They are seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to maintain and repair conveyor belt scrapers and other pieces of equipment within quarries and aggregate sites (sand, gravel, and related environments). This is a practical, outdoor position requiring resilience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to travel to client sites.

Are you the right person for the job?
  • Confidence using hand and power tools (drills, grinders, tape measures, etc.)
  • A practical, mechanical aptitude; some mechanical experience is desirable
  • Reliability, a strong work ethic, and willingness to travel to client sites
  • Ability to listen, learn, and follow instructions
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a small, committed team
What will your role look like?
  • Maintain, fit, and repair conveyor equipment in quarry environments
  • Travel to client sites across England, Scotland and Wales
  • Complete written job reports (flexibility for completion outside standard hours)
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements, including COSHH and SPAR Safety Passport compliance
