Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment agency is looking for a Service Engineer to join the team in Sheffield. The role involves installing and commissioning machinery, responding to breakdowns, and producing service reports. Candidates should have a technical degree, at least 3 years of field service experience, and strong mechanical and electrical knowledge. A clean driving license is also required. Competitive salary between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a Field Service or Maintenance role.
• Clean Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

Metalis are currently working with a world leading machinery manufacturer who are looking for a Service Engineer to join their expanding team.

Duties:

• Install and commission machinery on customer sites
• Respond to breakdown repairs, maintenance, servicing and production assistance
• Produce service reports
• Be available when on call
• Record and report any modifications back to the Service Manager
• Ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently

Job Requirements:

• Technical Degree or Qualification
• 3 years minimum in a Field Service or Maintenance role
• Full UK Driving Licence (clean)
• Mechanical and Electrical knowledge
• Experience with automated machinery
• Knowledge of PLC's

Salary and Shift:

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Monday to Friday, 8am - 5:30pm
