A housing organization in England is looking for a Service Charge Specialist to oversee the accuracy of service charge schedules and liaise with Asset teams. This role, requiring national travel, involves a thorough verification of financial data and strong analytical abilities. Location : Bradford / Burnley / Stockton hybrid with regular travel to our schemes.
Salary : 33195 per annum
24 month fixed term contract 35 hours per week Monday Friday 9am to 5pm.

As our Service Charge Specialist you wont just crunch numbers; youll dig deeper. Visiting sites verifying data and thinking beyond the surface youll uncover the true story behind service charge schedules. Your pragmatic approach will spot discrepancies distinguish errors from necessary adjustments and ensure every schemes data stands up to scrutiny.
Working closely with Asset teams and leadership youll help future-proof our processes ensuring accurate apportionments aligned with tenancy and lease agreements. Your efforts will directly impact customers safeguarding fairness and improving data integrity across Accent.
This role involves national travel and site visits offering variety and the chance to get hands‑on with the properties we serve. If youre inquisitive thorough and ready to make a real difference we want to hear from you.
The salary for the Service Charge Specialist post is 33195 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants who do not meet all the requirements of the post will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in service charge management finance or property services within the housing or real estate sector. Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail are essential along with the ability to interpret complex data and identify discrepancies. A solid understanding of housing management systems asset hierarchies leasehold frameworks and service charge obligations within Tenancy Agreements is required. Proficiency in Excel finance systems and housing management software is expected as is the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a range of stakeholders. The role also demands a collaborative customer‑focused approach and the ability to work confidently with both internal teams and external partners.
Interviews will take place via Teams and will involve a presentation competency interview. Candidates will also complete a Customer Service questionnaire.
