The Role

As Senior Water Design Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the client’s South East operations. You will be responsible for developing and managing a multidisciplinary engineering team and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality water sector design projects.

  • Establish and manage a new satellite office in the South East
  • Create, lead and develop a multidisciplinary water design team
  • Identify, attract and retain local engineering and management talent
  • Maintain a positive team ethos and professional working culture
  • Plan and grow the team in line with strategic objectives
  • Oversee team structure, performance and development
  • Ensure all design work follows established processes and procedures
  • Deliver fully integrated design outputs that meet safety and quality requirements
  • Ensure delivery within agreed timescales and budgeted hours
  • Promote the use of appropriate industry standards, best practice and software tools
  • Record and manage project change for all design packages
About You

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Significant experience within the regulated water industry
  • Chartered status or working towards chartership with a recognised engineering or management professional body
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to inspire, guide and develop a high-performing technical team
