We're looking for a Senior UX Researcher to drive user-centered innovation across our internal Data Science tools and platforms. Advocate for office-based peers and Data Scientists, helping improve teamwork and decision-making with user-friendly tools.
You will collaborate with a diverse team, including Service Builders, User Experience Composers, Interface Inventors, Product Leaders, Data Scientists, and Engineers to improve the user experience for head office staff and suppliers. You will work closely with Build Managers and the Invent Lead to develop the research direction across various business and data science areas.
You are an effective problem solver who is highly skilled in a range of research methods, with proven experience turning research findings into actionable recommendations that drive user-centred design and product outcomes. You are at ease with sophisticated challenges, you know how to investigate and map the use of systems that involve multiple services, and how to present your findings with clarity. You thrive in collaborating with experts and senior leadership to ensure UX research can inform development, product, and business decisions.
As our ideal candidate, you have a passion for understanding people, their motivations, and behaviours, and the challenges they face. You have excellent observational and analytical skills, strong design thinking expertise, the ability to collaborate with other teams effectively, and a steadfast determination to do what is right for our colleagues and suppliers. You will be responsible for identifying user needs, spotting opportunities, and delivering actionable insights that inform the development of compelling user-centered experiences and digital products.
