Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Trust Officer to join their dynamic team. This full-time position plays a vital role within the Trust department, supporting the administration of a diverse portfolio of companies, trusts, and foundations. The successful candidate will help maintain a consistent and high standard of service, ensuring all correspondence is managed in a professional and timely manner. This position is based in Jersey and offers the opportunity to work with a leading international provider of fund, corporate, and private wealth services.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day affairs of complex clients autonomously, adhering to the terms of appointment and group procedures.
  • Build and cultivate client and intermediary relationships to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Attend client meetings and engagements with advisors, both in Jersey and occasionally overseas.
  • Maintain accurate statutory records for entities, ensuring compliance with local legislation.
  • Oversee all trust control functions, including periodic reviews, accounts, and updates of registers within agreed time frames.
  • Ensure all client assets are accurately identified, allocated, and under the appropriate control of the trust company or its representatives.
  • Conduct fee assessments to ensure fair pricing for clients and regularly review profitability.
  • Complete all administrative tasks in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
  • STEP/CGI or other relevant qualification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within trust administration.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation capabilities.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Solid understanding of general compliance requirements.
