We\'re seeking a Senior Talent Partner to help us scale rapidly and continue building a high-performing team that empowers every OakNorther to reach their potential. You\'ll work closely with and act as a deputy to the Director of Talent Acquisition, playing a key role in driving our hiring strategy and execution.

Evolving and embedding an AI- and data-driven, scalable talent model that delivers excellence at pace.

Enhancing our employer brand and talent marketing, showcasing OakNorth\'s mission, culture, and impact to attract exceptional talent in competitive markets.

Redefining performance and hiring metrics, establishing a unified talent analytics dashboard to inform strategic workforce planning.

Enhancing the hiring manager experience, through capability-building, tools, and clear frameworks that enable consistent, high-quality hiring decisions.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to define hiring strategies and bring the best talent into OakNorth.
  • Build and nurture talent pipelines, using creative sourcing strategies and diverse channels to identify future OakNorthers.
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our values and culture.
  • Use data and insight to drive smarter decisions, improve efficiency, and identify opportunities for automation and process innovation.
  • Collaborate with the wider People Team to continually raise the bar for talent and ensure we\'re supporting growth with the right people, at the right time.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 8 years\' in-house recruiting experience across a range of roles, ideally within financial services or fintech.

  • Strong relationship-builder trusted by leaders and colleagues alike, collaborative and resourceful.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders across fast-paced, high-growth organisations.
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyse hiring metrics and turn insight into action.
  • Passionate about inclusion, equity, and belonging, and eager to embed this across everything you do.
