A healthcare service provider in Keynsham is seeking a Support Worker to join their CAMHS team. The role involves working with children and young people requiring mental health support in a hospital setting. Candidates should have a solid understanding of mental health needs, experience with children, and relevant qualifications. We are looking for individuals with a passion for improving care for young people with mental health difficulties to join our CAMHS liaison team.
You will work with children and young people who come to hospitals and need mental health assessment and support. In this role every day is different and you will be working with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professional and mental health clinicians.
This role will also involve working with the wider team, Eating disorder team and crisis and home treatment to complement the work of liaison and TEDS through supporting children in a flexible way within CAMHS.
The role will involve offering emotional support to adolescents and/or their parents who are in mental health crisis or those with mental health difficulties who are being supported on the paediatric ward.
This role will be based in the Royal United Hospital, Bath and will be linked to BaNES CAMHS team.
