Qualifications

• Chartered or approaching chartership with ICE or IStructE.
• A building structures background with knowledge of commonly used structural materials.
• Good lateral thinking and problem solving skills.
• A high standard of written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine the professional negligence of structural and civil engineers on behalf of legal firms, insurers and adjusters.
• Carry out site investigations and desk studies.
• Prepare expert witness reports within specialist subject areas.
• Inspect construction site works.
• Provide input on training and development within the structures team.
• Assist with marketing and business development activities.
