Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Strategy Manager to join a rapidly growing organisation within the Energy sector. This is a pivotal role within a high-impact Strategy function that is driving transformational change across the business. As the company undergoes significant expansion and strategic evolution, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape group-wide direction, influence financial and operational performance, and contribute meaningfully to long-term success.

Reporting directly to Strategy and Corporate Development C-suite, you will play a key role in designing and implementing the Group Strategic Plan. You will lead and support multiple high-priority strategic projects, working cross-functionally and globally to identify opportunities, challenge conventional thinking, and ensure delivery of tangible outcomes. You will also serve as a strategic coach—strengthening capability both within the function and across the broader business.

With a strong emphasis on growth, transformation, and executive-level influence, this role requires an individual who can confidently engage senior stakeholders, contribute to Executive Committee presentations, and align strategy with the organisation’s financial and operational objectives.

Key Objectives:

  • Lead and manage strategic and corporate development projects aligned with the business’s growth ambitions.
  • Influence and engage senior leadership, including the C-suite, through data-driven insights and impactful ExCo presentations.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to identify and implement long-term growth and value creation opportunities.
  • Provide expertise in M&A, including deal structuring, transaction management, and coordination with external advisors.
  • Deliver financial and operational analysis to support strategic decision-making and investment cases.
  • Coach and develop strategic capability within teams, acting as a thought partner across the business.
  • Promote innovation and transformation by challenging traditional approaches and introducing fresh strategic perspectives.
  • Ensure delivery against strategic objectives through effective stakeholder management and project execution.

You will bring a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Tier One strategy consultancy or an in-house corporate strategy role, ideally within an international and complex environment. Strong analytical ability, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement are essential. You’ll be confident navigating complex data, shaping compelling business cases, and delivering executive-level presentations.

Experience in the Energy sector and additional language skills are an advantage but not essential.

If you are ready to play a key role in the strategic direction of a growing and forward-looking energy organisation, and want to make a visible impact at both operational and board levels, we welcome your application.
