A prominent healthcare provider in York seeks a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to support and assess children with Neurodivergence. This part-time role (30 hours) requires working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored assessments and treatments. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in mental health and learning disabilities. Competitive salary from £38,682 to £46,580 pro rata.

Do you want to work alongside a well-established and compassionate team in helping to assess and support these families? Then we have the right role for you. York's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services are seeking to recruit a Speech and Language Therapist to work within our Neuro pathway, part time (30 hours).
The post holder will assess children and young people to identify language concerns and possible Neurodivergence.
The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Neuro team, which will include observations, specialist assessments, and report writing, in order to deliver a clinically compliant assessment pathway for those children and young people up to the age of 18 years.

You will work with a range of professionals from a variety of different agencies including social care, acute care and a range of community and voluntary sector partners.
The team is in a position to be able to help staff develop the knowledge and experience within CAMHS and offer additional training as appropriate to role but are keen to recruit an individual who has experience in this area and can bring that experience to the team.
