A health technology firm in Manchester is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to lead software development initiatives. You will work primarily on back-end systems with a focus on Node.js and TypeScript, while also collaborating on infrastructure and DevOps. The company offers a remote-first culture with regular team meetings in Manchester. Benefits include stock options, life assurance, and flexible working arrangements.
Let’s start with the good stuff...
You’ll step into a high‑impact IC role, with nothing but greenfield work in front of you and no legacy applications that need maintaining.
Working on a suite of products that are already powering major health systems - transforming how healthcare organizations deliver pharmacy, care coordination and direct‑to‑patient services.
We’ve just raised $20M at Series‑A, so we’re accelerating all things product development as we build what’s next. That’s where you’d come in.
You’ll hear the term “full‑stack” get thrown around quite often - but for us, that means you’d come in back‑end heavy - probably an 80 / 20 split. Our tech stack looks like :
Yes, your main focus will be software engineering - but don’t be surprised if you’re looking at other areas too. This could mean getting involved in infra, design and / or DevOps chats too.
You’ll help us transition away from the ‘start‑up’ tag, into more of a ‘scale‑up’. This means defining engineering processes and putting more structure in place, so we can scale our platforms with ease.
Yes, initially there’ll be processes that aren’t as mature as what you’re used to - but that’s where you’d come in. Having a seat at the table when it comes to decision making, and really being able to influence decisions moving forward.
This role is remote‑first - but the Eng team meets regularly in our Manchester HQ. We’re still building our engineering culture, so are looking for people who can buy into this.

Don’t worry if your CV isn’t up to date - we’ll cross that bridge later.
