Senior Software Engineer - C#/.NET

Location: Remote (UK-based) - office once per quarter

Salary: £85,000 - £90,000 + Shares/Equity + Pension

Are you a Senior Developer with a passion for automation and a background in C#/.NET?

Join a fast-growing, well-funded startup that has just secured new client investment and is scaling its engineering team. Their platform helps businesses streamline claims and cost recovery in the logistics and shipping sector, using automation and AI to spot errors, track issues, and save time and money for their customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the CTO and a highly skilled dev team, where you'll have ownership, visibility, and the chance to make a real impact in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive automation initiatives within the platform
• Develop, maintain, and optimise backend systems using C#/.NET and SQL
• Collaborate with a small, highly skilled dev team (7 people)
• Contribute to scaling and improving core systems as new clients come on board

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in software development with a strong focus on C#/.NET
• Experience with SQL & Entity Framework
• Proven track record of delivering automation solutions
• Ability to thrive in a startup/scale-up environment - hands-on and proactive
• Bonus: any AI/ML exposure (even at a basic level)
• A strong communicator and team player - personality fit is key!
