What you will do
  • Supervise Adult Services, ensuring the successful planning and delivery of business objectives.
  • Conduct effective appraisals and supervision, driving continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national Safeguarding Adults policies.
  • Mentor team members, fostering high professional standards.
  • Promote a strengths‑based model of self‑directed support to staff and service users.
  • Manage work allocation and performance of selected staff.
  • Be mindful of financial implications while supporting staff to maximise independence.
  • Develop high standards of practice and maintain quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate in a multi‑disciplinary approach with health and care partners in Hackney.
  • Work closely with the Team Manager and Consultant Social Worker to balance priorities.
  • Contribute to and develop Quality Assurance Frameworks focusing on Safeguarding.
