Job Type: Full‑Time, Permanent

Our client is seeking a confident and experienced Senior Site Engineer to lead engineering operations across a range of Earthworks projects. This is a hands on role approximately 70% site‑based and 30% office‑based, offering the opportunity to shape major infrastructure works while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to project success across the North East.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site surveys and setting out using GPS, total station, and laser levels
• Produce accurate drawings, volume calculations, and technical reports
• Support estimating and tendering activities with take‑offs and material analysis
• Supervise, guide, and mentor two Site Engineers, ensuring quality, compliance, and best practice
• Coordinate with Contracts Managers and senior leadership to drive project delivery
• Maintain accurate, structured site and project records
• Ensure all works adhere to health and safety regulations and company standards
