Overview

Site Engineer - Sellafield Nuclear Site - Construction Project - Large RC frame build

Contract Role - Inside IR35 - Pay £45-£50 per hour paid via Umbrella company (INSIDE IR35)

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute site engineering activities on the civil construction project at the Sellafield facility.
• Verify and control drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures, site safety, and compliance with nuclear site requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and the client on-site.
• Assist with setting out, inspections, and problem-solving on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on major civil/RC frame projects, ideally within controlled or nuclear environments.
• Strong setting-out, surveying, and measurement skills; proficiency with laser scanning and total stations is a plus.
• Familiarity with NEC/ICE contracts, QA procedures, and safety standards; CSCS/SMSTS/CSO as required.
• Good communication and coordination abilities; ability to work on-site at Sellafield and manage interfaces with contractors and client.
