Overview

This role focuses on managing strategic accounts, driving growth, and delivering best-in-class support to enable customers to do more of what’s important.

Responsibilities
  • You will deliver accurate forecasting taking into account complex deal cycles, multi-year renewals, and expansion opportunities within your strategic account base.
  • You will run comprehensive monthly business reviews covering pipeline health, customer success metrics, competitive positioning, and growth strategies.
  • You will contribute to divisional strategic planning and provide market intelligence to guide product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Strategic Initiatives: You will work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership to ensure your accounts receive world-class support and have early access to innovations.
  • You will identify and drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the full Access recruitment technology suite.
  • You will represent Access at industry events and maintain thought leadership positioning within the recruitment technology ecosystem.

About you
  • You're a senior sales leader with a strong track record managing enterprise account portfolios over £15M ARR.
  • You have led large, distributed teams across new business, existing customers, customer success, and sales specialists.
  • You use consultative selling and data to plan and execute strategic accounts, build and maintain C-level relationships, and navigate complex buying processes.
  • You have grown key accounts worth £1M+ ARR and developed territory strategies that boost customer value and market share.
  • You stay up to date with recruitment trends and position Access as the go-to technology partner.
  • You work well independently and drive change through influence.
Day-to-day responsibilities
  • You're a motivated, driven executive who takes ownership of business outcomes and demonstrates entrepreneurial thinking at enterprise scale.
  • You have proven experience managing strategic account portfolios with 80+ enterprise clients across multiple territories including international markets as well as new business territories.
  • You possess advanced analytical capabilities and can leverage complex data sets to drive strategic decision-making and account prioritization.
  • You can demonstrate exceptional performance management skills, with experience coaching senior account professionals and driving team excellence.
  • You have experience building high-performing, globally distributed sales and account management teams.
  • You can evidence rapid strategic decision-making abilities, particularly when navigating market changes and customer transformation initiatives.
  • You understand SaaS business models, particularly in the recruitment technology space, and can articulate complex value propositions to senior executives.
Team Leadership
  • You will lead a diverse team of 9+ professionals including Senior Account Managers and Executives across the UK.
  • You will manage key relationships with enterprise clients including NSL, Rullion, Robert Walters, Associates, Concentrix, and other market-leading recruitment organizations.
  • You will drive strategic account reviews and executive-level customer engagements for accounts with ARR values ranging from £400K to £1.4M+.
