Overview

As the HR and Reward Advisor you will hold a pivotal role with real influence and visibility across the business. In this high-impact reward role, your main responsibilities will include the provision of HR solutions and tools and expertise in compliance with the appropriate HR Reward policies and processes. You will ensure the maintenance and management of all benefits and collective remuneration processes on the site and this will, at times, involve supporting the national reward team.

Responsibilities
  • Key focal point for reward queries from employees and managers, ensuring timely response and escalation as necessary
  • Directly responsible for the operational delivery of compensation and benefit deliverables, new initiatives and data‑driven recommendations
  • Manage invoice and purchase order processing, ensuring accuracy and processing within agreed timescales; liaise with Finance, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Procurement and external suppliers as appropriate
  • Handle sensitive data with a high level of discretion (e.g., salary information, medical data)
  • Champion HR and Reward operational accountabilities and represent the team with internal and external stakeholders
  • Budget management and input into annual operational budget planning
  • Provide ongoing ad‑hoc support to the wider Reward team
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive understanding of employee benefit arrangements; liaise with suppliers for smooth annual renewals and correct eligibility application
  • Communicate monthly benefit choices/deductions and benefit‑in‑kind reporting to the Reward Operations team
  • Complete annual benchmarking activities, reviewing external market rates to support the annual pay and bonus cycles
  • Lead all pay and reward cycles, analyse data, report and communicate insights
  • Resolve ad‑hoc queries to support employee engagement, retention and new hires
  • Serve as focal point for all reward queries and support cross‑functional projects
  • Provide expert advice on job evaluation and pay benchmarking, presenting recommendations to senior leaders and HRBPs; use evaluation tools to review and establish correct role grading as requested
  • Act as focal point for relocation queries, collating data and liaising with recruitment and HR teams
  • Review and manage long‑service and recognition events, ensuring smooth running of recognition and award processes
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role within Human Resources, with knowledge of reward, compensation and benefits management
  • Experience working within fast‑paced, customer‑facing environments
  • Strong data interpretation skills, ability to spot trends and provide creative solutions
  • Confidence in presenting to and influencing stakeholders
  • Project management and strong problem‑solving skills – liaising with Payroll and Suppliers and the wider UK Reward Team
  • Experience working with external suppliers and internal cross‑division liaison
  • Experience comparing reports/data with strong attention to detail and focus on data quality
  • High energy with the ability to work fully autonomously
  • Query response management and ability to problem solve
  • Experience liaising with employees and managers, including creating and sharing appropriate communication pieces via suitable channels
  • Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity, underpinning the company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth
