Job description

Looking to recruit a Senior Retrofit Assessor/ PAS Technical Manager to join a leading maintenance contractor around Hertfordshire on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. You'll manage, mentor, and develop your team to help them reach their full potential. Reporting to the Decarbonisation Manager, you will play a crucial role in positively impacting communities during and after projects, helping to leave a lasting, sustainable legacy. You will also be responsible for providing regular updates on resident satisfaction and audit results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage PAS 2030/35 compliance.
• Provide clear project direction, focusing on compliance and consistency across multiple concurrent schemes.
• Conduct retrofit assessments, EPC and borescope surveys, and air tightness tests.
• Perform regular site visits to inspect work and complete the necessary checks for each project.
• Manage the supply chain compliance strategy for every project.
• Prepare for and oversee all PAS 2030/35 and MCS audits from accrediting bodies.
• Ensure all systems are in place and that work is completed in line with the company's standards, behaviours, and values.
• Assess a building's entire structure, interpret EPC ratings, and determine how to improve them using different retrofit methods.

About you

The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, preferably within a social housing environment, and be skilled at building and maintaining strong customer relationships. You should be well-organised and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You must be computer literate and hold Retrofit Assessor, Coordinator, and testing qualifications. At least one year of experience as a Retrofit Coordinator is essential.
