We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and highly motivated Senior Research Nurse to join the Infectious Diseases and Pharmacology Research Teams at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
As a Band 7 Research Nurse you will work as part of an established supportive multidisciplinary research team delivering a broad portfolio of studies across our specialty, including NIHR portfolio and commercial trials.
Drive high‑quality study delivery and ensure recruitment and performance targets are consistently met.
Provide visible leadership to research nurse, practitioner and support staff; coordinate study activity and ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice, Trust policies and regulatory standards.
Advocate for research and participants, recruit and support research participants and the wider research team.
Maintain high‑standard patient care in line with Trust and R&D policies and protocols, oversee accurate and timely data collection and uphold robust documentation standards.
Band 7 Research Nurse experience with proven leadership skills, line‑management experience and substantial expertise in conduct of clinical trials.
Strong project management, problem‑solving skills and autonomous working ability.
Good knowledge of clinical research processes, regulatory frameworks, feasibility assessments and site set‑up; liaise confidently with sponsor organisations and multidisciplinary teams.
