A prominent UK research organization is seeking a part-time leader for a role that involves overseeing commissioning and monitoring activities. The position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration with the Welsh Government and research community. Ideal candidates will have a degree in biomedical health or social sciences, experience in research management, and a proven track record in project and programme management. Reporting to the Assistant Director this part time role 0.5FTE will involve overseeing some of the teams commissioning and / or monitoring activities and will require a strong leadership style along with the ability to work collaboratively.
The post provides the opportunity for external liaison with interfaces to the customer Welsh Government and the research community in Wales.

NB : We offer a range of work life balance and family friendly flexible working arrangements. This is an office based hybrid role with an expectation for all employees to attend our offices 1 day each week this may increase subject to team requirements.
